Grilling season started a little early this year..and that’s fine by me. This Grilled Teriyaki NY Steak has me barely remembering the 3 feet of snow we had just a month ago. I created this recipe from a childhood memory of dinner at a fancy restaurant in Hawaii. I was one lucky kiddo growing up. My parents loved to travel and trips to warmer places were a frequent thing. I particularly remember eating the most amazing teriyaki steak at a restaurant in Hawaii. It sat right on the water and had the coolest windows that propped open, tropical style. I had a fancy strawberry daiquiri, virgin of course, that was my kid drink back then and this steak. Coated in sweet teriyaki sauce with grilled pineapple. Ahh…Food memories are the best.
